How to Play Fallout 4 on Nintendo Switch
Posted by IGN on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 10:14:08After a year-and-a-half since its release, Fallout 4 has finally been released on Nintendo’s Switch console.
However, it’s a bit disappointing to see it fail to reach the same level of critical acclaim as Fallout 4 did on PC.
As such, we’ve been using the Switch to try out the game for ourselves, and as such, here are our top tips for how to play the new version of Fallout 4.1.
Download the official Fallout 4 Steam client.
This is a free download that allows you to play Fallout 4 across all platforms.
It also gives you access to all the game’s DLC and extra content.2.
The game is absolutely worth playing on the Switch.
The story and characterisation is just as deep and engaging as the PC version.3.
Use the gamepad.
As a console gamer, I have to say that the touchscreen interface is quite easy to use.
It makes controlling the game a snap, and the Switch’s controller is far more intuitive.4.
Enjoy the soundtrack.
There’s some really good music coming your way if you’re into the genre.
The game has been re-mastered to be on par with the PC’s soundtrack.5.
You’ll need a friend to play with, but the Switch has support for up to four players.
