Serie A: Bologna 0-2 Napoli
Bolognese 0-0 Napoli has been relegated from the Serie A table for the second time in four seasons after the Viola defeated the Nerazzurri.
The Nerazzuri have already reached the quarter-finals of the competition, but their last two seasons have been marred by a series of poor results.
Despite that, the Nerazurri are still unbeaten in the league, with eight wins and three draws.
Napoli, who have been relegated two years in a row, will hope to get back into the top flight after their defeat by Bolognica.
Juventus had an easy game against Bolognse, but could not break through as the hosts failed to make it past the penalty area.
The Bianconeri have won five of their last six games, but have been outscored 29-8.
Napolitano was quick to praise his team’s performance in the derby, but he was forced to clarify that he was referring to the home side’s play.
“We knew it would be tough and that we needed to win the game to get in the Champions League,” he said.
“The result is the same.
There are two different teams, but this is not a derby.
We have to play with a lot of pride.
The Bianconero have been better in the past than us.”
